Frequently Asked Questions 

❣  Shipping & Orders ❣

❀ Do you ship Domestic and Internationally?

✿ Yes! Domestic shipping is calculated at check out and International shipping has been temporarily paused due to issues with shipping. 

❀ How long until my order is ready? 

✿ All orders are made per order (unless stated otherwise), orders can take up to 1-2 weeks to be created and shipped out. Please be patient with me, as there is only one person running Jillianhartjewelry, feel free to follow us on Instagram @jillianhartjewelry for more up to date information.  

✿ The 1-2 week order processing time does not include time for shipping, please allow for extra time for shipping. 

❀ How can I track my order once it has been shipped?

✿ After placing an order you should receive a confirmation email, and once the package ships, you will receive a tracking number (tracking is through USPS).

❀ What happens if I do not receive any emails after placing my order?

✿ If you do not receive your confirmation email or tracking number please contact us through our contact form found here on our website under the Contact Us tab. Or for direct contact you can also contact us through direct messaging on Instagram (do not message through Facebook please, we will likely not respond in a timely matter).

❀ Do you provide a delivery or pickup option for local customers?

✿ There is no delivery option due to supply and demand.

✿ DM me on instagram @jillianhartjewelry if you have questions about a pickup option before placing your order. A pickup option is available for locals in the Chula Vista/San Diego area at no additional cost. 

❣  Jewelry Care 

❀ Is your jewelry safe for sensitive skin?

✿ All my earring hooks are made with gold-plated, and silver-plated brass. High quality earrings are made with hooks that are hand bent by me with 14k Gold filled or Sterling silver wire. 

❀ Is my jewelry safe to get wet?

✿ Most of my jewelry is made of a non-tarnish wire with a copper base. The wire has a gold or silver coating, and although the wire is "non-tarnishing" the color can fade or chip off if worn in water. 

❀ To avoid tarnishing refrain from wearing jewelry when: in the shower,  applying lotion, perfume, or sunscreen or other harsh chemicals. Try your best to not expose jewelry to chlorine/pools! Chlorine will lessen the lifespan of your jewelry and ware down the gold and silver finish. 

✿ Jewelry that is classified as "high quality" is made with 14k Gold filled wire or Sterling silver wire. The high quality metals used are made to withstand water and moisture, however overtime exposing the metals to moisture or harsh chemicals such as chlorine can cause wear and tear on the wire itself. Sterling silver is more prone to tarnishing than 14k gold filled, so for best care, try to refrain from exposing it to water or harsh chemicals. High quality jewelry made with gold-filled chain or sterling silver chain is delicate, therefore handle your jewelry with care. 

❣  Custom Orders ❣

❀ Where can I place a custom order?

✿ You can place a custom order with me through instagram DM, just message me with your custom idea @jillianhartjewelry. 

❀ How much do custom orders cost?

✿ It varies for each custom order, I will determine what would be fitting for the product due to materials. 

 

❣ Returns and Refunds ❣

❀  You, as my customer, are important to me, so if you need to return your item, I provide exchanges within 14 days of receiving your package. Due to each jewelry piece being made per-order, I do not often provide refunds but in certain situations I can provide an exchange or refund.

✿ The item(s) must be in its original packaging, unused and in new condition. Customers are expected to pay for shipping and handling for both the exchanged, and new item. 

❀ If item/s are damaged due to shipping, please contact me via email jilliannhartjewelry@gmail.com or via instagram DM @jillianhartjewelry. Pictures for proof of damage are required. 

❀ I am not responsible for lost/stolen items once USPS tracking states it has been "delivered". 

❀ If for some reason your jewelry breaks within 14 days of receiving your order, please contact me via email jilliannhartjewelry@gmail.com or via instagram DM @jillianhartjewelry I would be happy to help with the situation.
